For those of you following the story, Galaxie Home Remodeling teamed up with Operation Homefront & WLS 890 to award one military family a “Warm Welcome Home.” From all the entrants, Master Sergeant Christopher Winling & family were chosen to receive the homemakover from Galaxie.
The good news is that the Winling family received a home makeover worth over $50,000. The better news is that Christopher’s wife, Jill has informed us that he will be coming home this Friday October 28th. After attending a ceremony Friday morning, the will be returning to their home in Lake Villa on Friday afternoon the 28th, which also happens to be Master Sergeant Winling’s Birthday.
